This plate has been made with deep grooves to allow water to collect in it while still being a safe way for bees and other pollinators to drink water without drowning. You can either fill it up as it dries out or allow it to collect the natural water from the weather.
Also, note that the crystalline glazes may have some variation in the spotting patterns due to the nature of how they react in the kiln.
